Switzerland Vacation Pictures

How does a marketing consultant maintain his creativity and sanity to keep providing value to clients? He takes a break and goes on vacation in the Swiss Alps!

My wife and I recently spent two weeks in the Lauterbrunnen Valley hiking and biking among the tiny towns of Murren and Wengen. This area of Switzerland is literally one of the most picturesque regions I've seen in the entire world. Beware of looking at the following images...you may find yourself suddenly skipping down and boarding a plane to Europe.

Wow Rob, so gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Before we had kids, my husband and I went to Interlaken and we were amazed! We had hiked up an area to find out that we missed the last bus down the mountain. Thankfully a European lady let us ride in the back of her teeny car - what a God send! Love your Monday morning tips, thank you!

Great photos of my favorite place in Switzerland. Having worked in Geneva, Switzerland and with family still there, I have visited the Lauterbrunnen Valley over forty times. We usually stay at the Hotel Staubbach. Always enchanted and longing to go back.
Not a bad place to spend time with your wife and get away from the humdrum.

My husband and I drove the Alps of Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland and we loved the area you were hiking in. I can no longer hike with the MS I've had since 1977, but I was up there with you in spirit on those trails! I used to backpack the 14,000' Rockies. Ray and I also drove the Italian Dolomite mountains which were unique. Glad you had a great trip!
